Commercial Manager

Lawbotics is Norway’s leading legal tech company and we’re growing fast. Now we’re looking for an ambitious and driven commercial manager to help us accelerate! If you have a proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business, are empathic and closing your sales by generating trust, you might be the one we’re looking for.

What you will do:

As a commercial manager in Lawbotics you’ll be an early member of our company, working closely with a cross-functional team. You’ll help us to shape the whole sales process and take us to the next level.

  • You’ll manage the full customer journey and life-cycle from prospecting to closing, meet revenue targets and contribute to the overall company success.
  • You’ll manage projects for successful enterprise implementation and challenge our product chief to deliver smoother consumer experience.
  • You’ll expand your personal network together with our team.
  • You’ll research and take initiatives for new projects within the Enterprise segment.

Who you are

  • You like to challenge the status quo, think creatively and always consider the customers best interest.
  • You take real interest in the customer and solving their problems, but you don’t accept everything at face value. You are curious and challenge their proposals, and you’re not afraid asking for a sale.

Formal qualifications

We don’t know exactly what we’re looking for, but we know this:

  • You come equipped with experience from sales enterprise software solution sales, and you have many things to learn us
  • You have 3+ years of relevant experience
  • A plus is if you know the law industry, but it’s not a requirement
  • High proficiency in English is a prerequisite, Norwegian is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or other related field. You might also have MBA or similar.

Front-End Engineer

You’ll be working on front-end code in an industry that’s relatively inexperienced with technology. This will involve fast paced tested development where you can have a potentially large effect on the future of the law industry.

What you will be doing:

  • Working with lean/agile methodology in a cross-functional team to define, design, and deploy new features
  • Create innovative new services and functionality to extend our web platform
  • Work with the rest of the team building a robust and scalable platform
  • Creating new features and innovations

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 3+ years experience building clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
  • A solid understanding of JavaScript, working with restful APIs,
  • A solid understanding of CSS and specificity
  • Experience with unit testing with libraries such as Jest, Enzyme, Jasmine, Protractor, etc.
  • Experience with working in and maintaining a Continuous Integration environment
  • Excellent collaborative and English communication skills.

Ideally (bonus), you’ll also have:

  • BEM or css-module experience
  • Experience with web-sockets
  • Experience with modern JS framework such as React, Vue, Angular, etc.
  • Mobile first development experience.
  • Experience with wysiwyg editors
  • Previous startup experience

Back-End Engineer

This will involve fast paced tested development where you can have a potentially large effect on the future of the law industry.

What you will be doing

  • Working with lean/agile methodology in a cross-functional team
  • Contributing to the design and architecture of our core platform
  • Maintaining and creating new services to extend our product features
  • Work with the rest of the team building a robust and scalable platform

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 3+ years experience building clean, maintainable and well-tested code
  • A solid understanding of Java or any other language in the JVM
  • Experience with building and designing RESTful APIs
  • Experience with designing and maintaining relational databases
  • Experience with unit testing with libraries such as Junit, Spock, Mockito, etc
  • Experience with working in and maintaining a Continuous Integration environment
  • Excellent collaborative and English communication skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience with or eager to learn Kotlin
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Experience with Continuous Delivery pipelines
  • Experience with micro services
